Castelrotto and Music

For many people the first thing they think of when they hear of the village of Castelrotto is the famous “Kastelruther Spatzen”, (lit. Sparrows of Castelrotto). This is home to these folk music stars and, with a bit of luck, you could even run into them during a stroll through the village. If that is not enough you can visit the “Kastelruther Spatzenfest” which is held each year in mid October.

But the traditional village of Castelrotto has lots more to offer besides. The artistically painted historical village centre, gastronomic variety and popular living customs are just waiting to be discovered.
